AQHA 2007 Black Stallion. He is tested Homozygous for the black gene (EE). He will not sire a red foal and unless your mare carries Agouti (the black points gene) and throws it, he won't sire a bay either. If you want a black foal...this is the stallion. He is a Shining Spark grandson on the top side of his pedigree and Grays Starlight on the bottom side. This fine black stallion is built compact.and ready to win..and he is only a yearling and 2 year old in the above photos. He has been taught to mount the phantom and collect into an Artificial Vagina for Artificial Insemination and Cooled and Frozen shipped semen across the country. His first foal crop will hit the ground this year.
Shiners Dew is already enrolled in the NRBC (National Reining Breeders Classic) in Texas and will be showing there as a 4 year old and will be shown in schooling shows, beginning this winter, here locally...he is currently being broke to ride and doing wonderfully, showing great athleticism and willingness with an awesome disposition. He is very athletic, smart and willing...Quick learner and extremely gorgeous! His temperament can't be beat.

Shiners Dew is standing here at The Lewis Ranch Stallion Station for a stud fee of only $600 and includes a $50 booking fee payable with the completed contract at time of booking. The remainder of the stud fee ($550) isn't due until you drop off your mare for on farm breeding or sometime before you will need the shipment if you are breeding by cooled shipped semen. Shipping is by Fed Ex and is still $175 and mare care is still $7/day for a dry mare and $9 /day for a wet mare/day. We offer an earlybird $50 discount for booking your mare by January 1 each year as well as a multiple mare discounts and referral discounts (mares can be booked to different stallions) of $50 each off the stud fee, so refer a friend and your friend can also get $50 off for booking with or because of you to any of our stallions.

Peppy King Colonel by Shiners Dew : Gorgeous Black filly-SOLD! Mare is bred back to same stallion and foal can be purchased in utero for a nice 2011 foal just like this one.
