"The Way It Works"
Our Queensland Heeler pups are $250. Email to be put on the list to notify when we have pups available to purchase.
1. I will email you back to let you know that I have saved your email address and you are on that list. I do accept reservations for pups with no refunds. (I only take a limited number in advance for the "next litter" for obvious reasons). I will, however, take a Reservation for a pup, paid in full, as long as you realize I cannot predict the number of color/gender produced in a litter and you may have to wait for the litter after that if I cannot match you up with a pup in the current litter.
2. When a litter is born, I will email those who have a pup reserved first with pictures of the litter. It is then First come, first serve for Reserved pup buyers. The order in which you have "reserved" a pup only comes into play if there are not enough of the requested color/gender in that litter to accomodate all the reservations for that litter. (ie: if 2 people reserved a blue female and there is only one in the litter...the first person who reserved a blue female would get that blue female if they want it). If there are plenty of each gender, the person who emails me back first and picks their pup...gets that pup. Or...if there is someone who has waited more than one litter for a pup and haven't gotten one yet...they move up to a "priority" position over everyone else. Please be gracious and understanding if you do not get your first choice because someone emailed back before you, we are adults. All the pups are beautiful and from the same litter with the same parents and the same genetics. You will love your pup. If you do not get back to me in time and the pup you want has been chosen by someone else...choose another pup quickly or let me know if you would rather wait for the next litter.
3. Reserved pup owners pick in the order they get back to me via email. I open emails in the order I receive them. If I do not hear from you after emailing you and you have reserved a pup, I will save a pup of the color/gender you requested for you, so please specify which color and gender you prefer upon reservation, by putting it on your check or paypal payment. You may also give me an idea of what you are looking for like a patch on one eye or no spots or patches, etc. and I will do my best to accomodate you when I pick the pup for you (if you cannot be reached). We have to move on and let the rest of the waiting list know they are born, so they can choose and we can dock tails knowing everyone wants the tail docked (or not) as this is done at 3 days old. It would be a huge waiting game for everyone if I let each person pick in order of reservation (no matter how long it took to get back to me) and I would never be able to accomodate those who wanted a tail left in tact.
4. After all reserved pup owners have picked, I then notify the waiting list of the litter's arrival so they can begin to choose from those pups that are left. When asking to be put on the list, you may specify color/gender or distinguishing marks but just know that I only save your email address in my AOL file and not your entire email with that information in it so I will probably ask you again at this time and I will probably notify you of a blue female's litter even if you don't want a blue, just in case you know someone or change your mind as I don't keep separate lists for blue or red (or male vs female) interests. This is just a list of people who were once interested in a Queensland Heeler puppy. Just let me know if you want off the list for any reason and I will be glad to take you off.
5. Once you are emailed, Act Quickly if you are still interested in a puppy and send me an email at heelerpups@aol.com about which color and gender you want and which pup, from the pictures (male or female and red or blue- mentioning distinguishing marks or the number of the pup you want). I will email back confirmation that the pup you like is available and it is yours. If you have not reserved ahead I will allow you a few hours to get the paypal payment made.
6. Paypal the money for your puppy using the Buy Now button on this page. Paypal is your only option at this point as I cannot hold a pup while I wait for a check in the mail. (you don't have to be a paypal member...and you can pay by check or credit card/ATM with this button)
7. I match everyone up to their pup using the first come, first serve system on color/gender and distinguishing marks on a particular pup. I even go so far as to click on my emails in the order in which they are received to make sure I am fair. If you do not end up getting the pup you wanted, you can choose another pup (quickly) or wait for the next litter and have a priority reservation over everyone else for that next litter so we can get you the pup you want. Again, there is no order of priority for picking on the reservation list outside of color/gender requirements so you still won't get to pick first but you will get a pup if there is only one of what you have requested because you had to wait already.
8. I will continue to post information about available pups and pictures of them as they are chosen, paid for, and grow and get their "Queensland color"...you can monitor the site for updates and new pictures (about once a week) after you purchase. I will also send out an email and post it on the site if a pup becomes available later, for whatever reason...
9. We will arrange a time/date to pick up your puppy after about 6 weeks of age...as long as they are eating puppy chow well. First shots will be administered to the pups after 6 weeks of age. I deworm each litter once or twice before they go home, but it is also a good idea to do it after they get home too. My breeding females and male are all on Revolution for flea and tick control as well as heartworm and have been dewormed.
To Reserve a pup in advance you can send a check to:

My cell # is 559-909-2156 if you would like to speak to me.
*Refund Policy: If you pay for a pup...it is yours, but please don't take a pup if you decide you don't want it. I can usually sell it for you with the demand I have for these pups. If I decide to do that for you I will keep $25 for my trouble.
I cannot predict gender or color :) ...so we have to be patient and wait for each litter to be born to know how many people will get a pup that have reserved and the color and gender available. You may have to wait a litter or two depending upon what color or gender you want and which females I am breeding to which males.
Tails can be left in tact upon request as long as the pup is chosen and paid for by 2-3 days of age which will usually require picking from pictures unless you live nearby. Once a tail has been left for you on a pup...you cannot change your mind as we will not dock tails after 3 days of age ...and we cannot put tails back on either. :) Duck tape has its limitations.
You may prepay for a pup or "Reserve" a pup. You can use a credit card/checking account via paypal by simply clicking the paypal button below...a paypal account is not necessary. Paypal charges $7.78 which is added onto the price of the pup and reflected in the "Buy Now" button below.
$257.78 is what you will pay on your end and $250 is what will appear on my end. Or you can mail a check for $250 in advance to avoid the paypal fee.
After emailing at heelerpups@aol.com to make sure the pup you want is available or that I am still taking prepaid reservations on a particular litter, click the button below and specify color and gender you want in your paypal payment. Also state if you want the tail left in tact or it will be docked.
**Thank you so much for taking the time to read the above, I know it is long, but as you can probably tell, I get a few folks that get a little upset when things don't go their way fast enough and it is mostly due to miscommunication which wouldn't happen if they would take the time to read the information I have on my site. I own a stallion station and raise horses and just raise a few Queensland Heeler pups on the side because I love the breed and most of my buyers do too...and most realize a good one is well worth waiting for.
